Online interaction data is retained to maintain our relationship and improve our offerings. Client consultation records are retained securely for 10 years, in line with New Zealand health privacy requirements.

We may ask for identity verification for privacy protection. We aim to respond to all requests within 30 days.


Consultation Policy

Bhimble Wellness is committed to providing safe, respectful, and confidential naturopathic care both in-person and online. All clients are required to complete a consent form prior to their first consultation.

Legislation and Compliance

While not registered under the Health Practitioners Competency Assurance Act (2003), we voluntarily comply with best practice guidelines and relevant legislation including:

  • Treaty of Waitangi
  • Privacy Act (2020)
  • The Code of Health and Disability Services Consumer Rights
  • Medicines Act (1981) & Medicines Amendment Act (2016)
  • Fair Trading Act (1986)
  • Consumer Guarantees Act (1993)

Important Disclaimers

  • Naturopathic advice is not a replacement for medical care from your General Practitioner or specialist.
  • We do not diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions.
  • Always consult your primary healthcare provider before making significant changes to your medication or treatment plan.

Retention of Client Records

Client records are retained securely for ten (10) years in accordance with legal and ethical requirements.


Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee to cover time and resource costs.
  • No-shows may be charged the full consultation fee at our discretion.

Health & Safety Policy (Post-COVID Update)

While pandemic regulations have eased, your health and safety remain our priority.

Please reschedule or request a Zoom consultation if:

  • You are unwell with cold/flu-like symptoms
  • You have a contagious illness or infection
  • You are caring for someone who is unwell and may pose a transmission risk

All equipment and surfaces are cleaned regularly. Hand sanitiser is available, and online consultations remain an option for your convenience.
