CONSULTATION POLICY

Bhimble Wellness adheres to the legislation and outlined points to ensure customers are treated safely and with respect, while maintaining their privacy and confidentiality. All online and in-person clients sign a client consent form with details of what they are consenting to, prior to our consultations.

Some legislations we comply to include:

  • Treaty of Waitangi
  • Health Practitioners Competency and Assurance Act (2003) - Not included in this act, however we choose to comply voluntarily.
  • Medicines Act (1981)
  • Medicines Amendment Act (2016)
  • Privacy Act (2020)
  • Public Health and Disability Act (2000)
  • The Code of Health and Disability Services Consumer Rights
  • Fair Trading Act (1996) and adherence to:
    • Advertising Standards Authority Codes of Practice
    • Consumers Guarantee Act (1993)

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR CONSULTATION DATA

We will only retain your personal data collected during consultations for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, this is legally for ten years in a secured location.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% fee to cover costs.

COVID-19 SAFETY POLICY:

Bhimble Wellness will be following strict hygiene guidelines to reduce the risk of transmission. Please scan NZ COVID Tracer App QR code or sign the COVID register when you come in.

Please reschedule or book in a Zoom online consultation if any of the following applies:

  • If you are feeling unwell or are having any COVID-19 symptoms (i.e. fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, sneezing, runny nose or loss of sense of smell).
  • If you have COVID-19 or are awaiting the results from being tested for COVID-19.
  • If you have been in contact with any known or suspected cases of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
  • If you have returned, or been in contact with anyone else who has returned from overseas in the last 14 days.
